Our Storu - White.png

We are a family steeped in aviation from military to commercial and private. We are also pretty keen on gin and thought - why not combine our passions?

The retirement of the largest British fleet of Boeing 747's provided our inspiration to take the dream to a reality.  The result; a personalised, hand crafted gin from one of the country's leading, award winning, distillers.

The 747 was the world's first double deck jet airliner, and made her maiden flight on 9th February, 1969.

Constructed in Boeing's purpose built Everett factory in Washington State, The Queen of the Skies as it's affectionately known, has become an icon of aviation that symbolises a generation of air travel and is adored by passengers and crew across the world.

BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation), later British Airways, received its first aircraft in 1970. It would go on to become one of the type's largest and most notable operators having the largest fleet by volume for several years, until its untimely retirement in 2020.

During her final decade of service the 747 was particularly associated with the celebrated LHR-JFK (London to New York) route.
